Days Since ATH

How long has the market been under water?

Why we track it · Time heals or grinds: the length of a stay below the peak shapes sentiment as much as its depth. The other side · A counter, not a signal. Day 400 tells you nothing day 399 didn't — watch it, don't trade it.

Days since the all-time high counts the elapsed time since the last record close — a measure of cycle age, nothing more.

328 daysas of 2026-08-30

328 days have passed since the all-time-high close of $124,824 on 2025-10-06. This counts elapsed time only and says nothing about what comes next.

The arithmetic is auditable; whether it means anything is the “other side” above. Levels are the weekly file’s completed closes — the reading stitches the live spot when available, so an intraday value can differ.

Off daily closes through 2026-08-30 (btc-history.json, weekly automated refresh); the current reading stitches the live spot when available.

How it's computed

For each day, count the days elapsed since the most recent all-time-high close, resetting to zero whenever a new high prints. It counts elapsed time only and carries no valuation bands. Computed off daily closes through the latest row in btc-history.json — a price-only series refreshed weekly by an automated, validation-gated pipeline, so the tail can trail the live market by up to a week between refreshes. The current reading stitches the live spot when available.
