How it's computed

Halving boundaries are derived from the deterministic protocol schedule (the subsidy halves every 210,000 blocks, ~every four years) anchored on observed halving dates at ~146 blocks/day — the observed 2020→2024 pace, since real blocks have consistently run faster than the 144/day protocol target. The series shows the days remaining to the next boundary at each point in history — a sawtooth that resets to a full epoch at every halving. Dates are estimates, not exact block times.
